How the demo is structured

  • Short tutorial introduces movement, attack, block, parry, and dodge.
  • A linear path through early enemies leads to the Tree Boss—the main demo challenge.
  • Death sends you back to checkpoints; treat runs as learning reps, not a full Metroidvania map yet.
  • v0.2 is planned to add a hub village, quests, gallery, and more bosses—see the official itch devlog.

General tips before you start

  • Play the in-game tutorial once—defensive mechanics are mandatory, not optional.
  • Use headphones: audio cues often telegraph parry windows.
  • If WebGL stutters, switch to the Windows download for smoother input.
  • This is R18—expect adult content on defeat; not required to finish the combat demo.

Suggested reading order

New players: Controls → Combat basics → Tree Boss. Returning players stuck on one attack pattern can jump straight to the Tree Boss section for that phase.

Demo scope — what to expect

  • Clearing the Tree Boss completes the current public demo arc.
  • Bad outcomes on defeat are part of the R18 design—combat skill reduces how often you see them.
  • No full story ending yet; v0.2 promises a longer questline and boss sequence.

Gallery & future content

  • The demo does not include a full in-game gallery—planned for a future update.
  • Replay the demo to practice parry consistency before v0.2 adds more enemies.
  • Follow KitDa Games on itch.io for devlog posts about NPC village and expanded H-events.

Is there a full game walkthrough yet?

No—the public demo is short. These guides cover tutorial combat and the Tree Boss only.

Did v0.1.10 make the Tree Boss easier?

Yes, slightly—damage and purple attack speed were reduced. Parry-focused strategy still applies. Tree Boss guide.

Should I use browser or Windows for learning parries?

Either works. Windows v0.1.10 is better if you want key rebinding or more stable frame times.
